Amyan

What you can find here is my loved chess program Amyan, with an estimated elo in the range 1900-2400 depending on hardware, style of play of the oponent, time control and state of humour...

You can download amyan 1.522(28-March-2002) as a standalone application: amyanguie.zip, altough very simple and limited, and you can't interrumpt it when it is thinking...(screenshot)
It runs a bit slower than the executable for Winboard.

And of course you can download Amyan 1.72(17-Oct-2009, [see changes]). This version is compatible with Winboard and UCI: Amyan 1.72

You can also play right here with a misterious version... available in an applet: Amyan Java, you have more oportunity to beat it as it runs much slower than the other versions.
